Community Ministry
At CCC Fiji we’re passionate about making disciples everywhere, including in local communities. That’s why a portion of our staff assist with mercy ministries like Filter of Hope and GAiN Medical, providing clean water and healthcare to Fijians in need, whilst sharing the words of the living water and great physician. We also equip churches through evangelistic workshops like MyFriends.
We hope to strategically reach people with the love of Jesus and train them to grow multiplying disciplemakers in their communities. Through faith-filled actions alongside the words of the Gospel, many who were once lost are now found, praise God.
Below is a story from one of our community missionaries:
One story that truly touched our hearts was when we met with a 64-year-old Indo-Fijian mum through Filter of Hope. She had survived oral cancer and despite sometimes struggling with her identity in Christ because of her appearance, her faith remains strong. Through her witness, her children have come to know Jesus, and she continues to pray for her husband—who still practices some Hindu traditions—and her brothers next door to come to faith. We are believing with her for God’s complete restoration and wholeness over her and her family. Her courage and trust in God are a beautiful reminder of how His hope can transform entire families.
